If only I could sacrifice something, something, just so that the cogs of time would slowly cease to work; just for them to slowly revolve back to where they were. If only. Wishing i'd never said it. Wishing i'd never done it. Reconciliation is your call. I've tried. I'm sorry.

Like an arrow streaking through the woods, that was. I never saw it coming. They say, life is fragile. You'd think they meant Life. But your life isn't excepted from this rule that binds us all with a limit. Life is too short to enjoy, life is too short to have enough of life for some people in this densely populated world of ours. It was as if it were only a few hours ago that I was stepping into that classroom, picking out that spot to sit. Before realization hit me, here I am, sitting at my table, ruing the unfinished; the incomplete. So many things I wish I had done. So many things I wished I'd done, undone. Cold reality slaps me in the face. Everyone moves on. Well, most at least, seeing i'm still sitting here like a nuthead. Coping with the future should be interesting. Rising spires of doubt now shadow my previously undiminishing sea of confidence.
